Operation back porch was a success! We use our porch almost daily so this spring I knew we needed to spruce the space up a bit, making it more functional and also more visually appealing all at the same time. We started by replacing our table and chairs with a much smaller set. When we originally moved into our house we brought with us an outdoor table from a previous home that was just too big for the space. Although we knew we needed to replace it, it wasn’t very high on our list of priorities with all the things we needed to purchase for our new home. The new smaller table instantly made the porch seem exponentially larger. Next, we needed more color! But let me start with this disclaimer…life with a toddler is very different from normal everyday life…and things seem to get ruined almost daily. With that being said I needed new pillows, cushions, and rug but I knew in the back of my mind that it would probably all have to replaced next year. Overall I am very happy with the way it turned out! And I couldn’t have done it without the help of mother/style advisor! Here’s a couple of pics of the newly updated Brandenburg back porch…
