It was my birthday this past weekend and since getting old isn’t any fun, I made sure I had some fun clothes to make the aging process a little less painful!
Friday night we went to dinner in Atlanta at Atlanta Fish Market and I wore this fun, feminine romper. I am constantly saying that I think I’ve found a new all-time favorite…but seriously, this one might just take the cake!! It’s ruffled, off the shoulder, open back, AND a bright color…what more could a girl ask for?! It comes in 3 different colors and I’ve included them all below in the links! These shoes are also really comfortable and stayed laced-up all night long. I was worried when I ordered them that I would constantly be retying them but that wasn’t the case at all. I will be wearing them any chance I get this season!
The next morning I had my sister’s bridal shower to attend and didn’t waste any excuse to wear a matching mommy & me outfit with Bailey. Because let’s just be honest…twinning with my little homie is totally #lifegoals! This little lightweight cotton dress is great for warmer months and I love matching with Bailey while she still lets me! It is comfortable, flattering for any shape or size, and a very appropriate length for when you need a more mature dress. These shoes are totally neutral and can be worn with almost anything! The necklace I am wearing is a pretty mint color and under $20!
That night we randomly decided to throw some stuff in a bag and head to a hotel for the night. It was totally last minute and we were all a little tired from a long day of celebrating with friends but it was SO nice to get away for the evening. Bailey loves staying in hotels so it was definitely worthwhile! We had a casual late dinner at La Fonda and got to sleep in the next morning and order room service on my birthday! This romper is a thick jersey material so it is perfect for just throwing on and running out the door. I am extremely tall (5’9) so it’s not quite as short on most people. The skirt wraps around the front so it looks like a dress but still great for moms who are bending over constantly. These sandals are my go-to sandals this summer. You’ve seen them on me before and you’ll be seeing them again because they are dressy and go with anything!
The next morning after coffee (several cups) & breakfast in bed, we headed over to Ponce City Market to check it out! It was our first time visiting PCM and we will definitely be returning! It was quite possibly the most gorgeous day ever and it felt PERFECT outside!! I couldn’t have asked for better weather on my birthday! It was so fabulous to be able to walk around outside with my (extremely active) toddler and do a little shopping all at the same time! Around lunch time we headed over to Piedmont Park and ate lunch at Park Tavern. My child, who never sits through a whole meal, was having so much fun looking at all of the dogs she sat motionless and is still talking about going back to the doggy restaurant! This tribal print tank/shorts set is insanely cute for the price. Together it is less than $45!!! I got this hat a couple months ago and wear it constantly! It is great for days you don’t feel like doing your hair but still want to look put-together! This turquoise bracelet stack is my current obsession. I find myself trying to wear it with everything or planning outfits just around it. It has a great price point as well! These fringe sandals are way out of my comfort zone but I thought they were cute and love trying out new styles. They were fun and comfortable…and we walked several miles over the course of the day!
We went to one last dinner to celebrate my birthday Sunday night and I wore this high-low black dress that was super flattering and fun. I don’t normally wear maxi dresses because I am so tall but this one was plenty long and made me feel extra feminine! These earrings are under $5 (a total steal) and I am wearing my favorite turquoise bracelet stack again! These gold lace-up gladiator sandals are budget friendly and so comfortable….I have searched for the perfect gladiators for weeks now! I just got them this weekend but you’ll be seeing plenty of them this summer!
